Graphic 45 Thank You "tags"

My husband asked me to create him 15-20 thank you cards for several of his customers.   I saw a tag that I liked on Pinterest and used it as a sketch for these cards.

I cut a 4.25" x 5.5" card in half, rounded the corners then inked the edges with Pealed Paint and Tea Dye distress inks.  Cut a rectangle 1" x 2.75" out of solid green cardstock then embossed that on the top portion running lengthwise with a stitch folder on the cuttlebug, I then inked the raised potion with the Tea Dye distress ink as well.   I added a solid dark green ribbon to the bottom edge as well.   I cut another 1.5" x 2" rectangle out of the same green cardstock then rounded the corners and inked the edges in Tea Dye as well.  I stamped "Thank You" onto the cardstock.   I cut  1 1/8" circle punch out of Graphic 45 scrap paper, as well as a 2.6" x 3" rectangle out of Graphic 45 scrap paper with the bottom two corners rounded and inked.     I added the circle punch to the top of the tag and added a shear ribbon and button with twine tied through the button holes.      The back of the card has another stamp saying "Thank you very much" with enough room for my husband to add a hand written note to his customers.

Queen of my Craftroom card challenge

This week over at Queen of my Craftroom, we were challenged to create a card using bling, ribbon, and stickles.

I created this birthday card, the dress and scalloped tags are cut using the cricut.   The dress comes from Forever young cartridge, I do not remember where the tags are from (sorry).    I wrapped ribbon around the mid section of the dress.  I dry embossed the dress using the cuttlebug and added bling to the bottom right corner.   The card front and inside are matted in black with a cream front.   Two sentiments are stamps, one on the front "make a wish" and "A day to remember" on the inside.

Graphic 45 MENU Banner

I created this banner that hangs on a wall in my kitchen that I could not decide what to put there.

The banner is made with Graphic 45 paper from the Botanicabella collection, Birds in Paradise and Botanical News and black and red cardstock.

I cut each banner at 5 1/2 inches for the black background, the green printed paper is cut at 4 1/2 inches.   I added the word MENU, cut at 3 inches, the black scalloped circle is actually cut at 2 inches but fits the 3 inch word cut perfectly.  The wheat grass is cut at 3 inches, and the flowers are cut at 1 1/2 inches, 1 1/4 inches, and 1 inch then layered, a antique brass brad is inserted into the middle of each flower.   All the triangles are strung together with a green sheer ribbon.  I used Botanicals, Walk in my Garden, Mini Monograms, and Tie the Knot cricut cartridges.

MPS 10 Million Hits Challenge

My Pink Stamper has made it to 10 MILLION Hits this week.   So in honor of this, Robyn has created a challenge and Blog Hop in celebration.    She asked everyone to create a card or layout using Red, Pink ribbon, two stamps, a Circle and a Die Cut.

I created a candy wrapper that has red in the paper as well in the scalloped tag, pink ribbon and both a scallop and a circle die cuts from George Basic Shapes and Mini Monogram cartridges.   I used two different Valentine's Day themed stamps and stamped not only on the circle tag but also on the card stock paper wrap as well.

Queen of my Craftroom card challenge

This week at Queen of my Craftroom, we were challenged to come up with a Valentine's Day card, below is my version of a card that I saw on Pintrest.   The card is embossed with the cuttlebug, four hearts are cut from George Basic Shapes Cartridge along with the shadow.   I added a white rose button for accent.

I created two versions of this card, one for my sweetheart the other to send to my 91 year old grandmother.

Graphic 45 tag album

I created this tag album using Graphic 45 paper from their Botanicabella collection.    The album is made from recycled toilet paper rolls which are covered in black cardstock.   I cut strips from the graphic 45 paper to wrap around each flattened roll.   The rolls are binded together using my  Bind-it-All from Zutter Inovative Products.   Each flattened roll has a tag inserted into the open end.   Each tag is embellished with paper from the graphic 45 collection and a metal embossed tag.   The tags are destressed with Tim Hotlz Distress Black Soot Ink as well.  Each tag and roll is also wrapped in twine.

Valentines Day Treat Challenge

This week over at Queen of my Craftroom the designers were asked to create Valentines Day Treat Boxes.    Since I had to create these for my youngest daughter's class anyway this was great timing.    I used my Gypsy and Expression and the Spring Cards Cartridge to create these treat boxes.   Each box was cut in bright pink and each card was cut in bright blue.   I inked the edges of the box in a chalk blue.
